About
Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Sofia and I am an illustrator & graphic designer. I was raised in a town in the south of Portugal called Lagos. My parents are British from Brighton and Spanish from Aragón. I went to school in Lagos, and my University studies were in Brighton MET College and Falmouth University in the UK graduating in 2020, also lived and worked there for a couple of years. But now I am living and working in Lisbon.
Mission
In this website I want to show you a selection of some of my favourite work. It shows versatility in the different projects and in style.
I enjoy combining analogue and digital techniques. This results in my work having surreal elements, grainy & halftone textures, abstract and imaginative concepts.
Vision
I am currently working as a freelance illustrator/ graphic designer and developing my digital and printing skills through courses and workshops. I am trying to find my voice in this field and trying to integrate myself more in the art and design world here in Lisbon, but I am also willing to relocate to somewhere else.
